Medical Education Scholars

The Medical Education Scholars (MES) program provides opportunities for participants to develop a foundational understanding of the education literature while gaining experience in developing and implementing scholarly contributions to medical education.

All School of Medicine faculty are welcome to apply. In addition, the College of Pharmacy and College of Nursing each select one participant for each MES cohort. Accepted applicants spend the equivalent of one-half day every week in year one, and two-half days per month in year two developing their academic leadership skills and educational expertise in curriculum development, teaching and assessment, and educational research and scholarship.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2017–19 MES Cohort. Use the links below to access information on the program, application process and a fillable application form. The deadline to submit all application materials is Monday, May 15, 2017.
